We have a number of key principles to enable us to develop the business over the coming years. 



We strongly believe that a successful business needs well trained, well supported, motivated and rewarded staff. We invest in staff development through training, both internal and externally provided. We currently have people undertaking accountancy, marketing, customer relations and computer courses. Through interviews and appraisals, each person’s interests and passions are assessed and then helped to achieve their goals through training and development.

Successful, high quality, independent practices, also require high quality surroundings and equipment. We have therefore invested in modern Hi-Tech equipment in the practices to enable us to deliver that quality and range of services. Including OCTs, Visioffice dispensing aid, Corneal Topographer, GDx, auto phoropters and LCD test charts plus Humphrey Visual field equipment. We will continue to invest in appropriate technology as it becomes available.



Everyone needs to know what is required of them, to have goals to work towards, training to enable them to achieve those goals, and assessment to see if they have got there. We use targets where appropriate to give something to work towards, and rewards when they are achieved. We have a regular mystery shopper program to ensure that the image we give is the quality we strive for. This enables us to reward the achievers and identify any problems within the business that need resolving. It has proved to be a very worthwhile process.
